Grow in pain

OctPoWriMo – Day 7

For I endured pain to take birth,
And I believe that is not the end.
More brittle bones will be broken,
More blood will be shed.
But, I endured pain to take birth,
Hence, it can’t be as useless.
Unwanted gifts wrapped in torn skin
Shall be thrown to hurt me
I shall bleed and I shall cry.
But I have learned pain’s lesson well.
When the gifts are opened,
I shall find words and poems and songs
that pain wanted to convey.
The hidden messages to help me
grow in pain.
