Mystic Moonlight

Tuesday Writing prompt – Go Dog Go Cafe

What shall I speak of thee,
Oh dear moon, my dear moon.
With craters as marks on you,
But never letting your pains dim your light.

What is love if not,
Felt under your mystic light?

No love is complete without you and
You have witnessed their hushed events.
Listening to their night long talks,
And you kept it all a secret.
You even on-look heartbreaks, and
you are comfort to every broken heart.
You always take care of the lonely,
And give them company to cherish.
Quenching thirst of weary souls,
You give them a sense of home.

Your love has never been answered,
yet you do not let anyone know the pain.
They may say you steal the light from sun,
But I know you don’t.
You have loved night fondly,
and you beautify her with your light.
Every night, you adorn her in a
Star studded gown, leaving all in envy.

  1. It’s been more than a month that I haven’t seen moon.
Yesterday I was sitting under the sky and missing moon and here you are portraying it in such a beautiful manner.
I so agree what is love when not shared under the moon.
    WOW Nima πŸ’›
