Ronovan’s Decima Poetry Challenge #35 – KNOCK in ‘a’ rhyme

For, when the time stopped in the clock,
when nothing stirred and all were still,
clear were the whispers of my quill.
My words collected in a flock,
and woke me up with sudden knock.
Parting my mouth to give them life,
when only air came out with strife.
On their way to birth , they were lost
.
It was when I needed them most.
How I wish I had a midwife !!
