MLMM First Line Friday – June 19, 2020
First line given being :
Jaime spent the whole day browsing the antique store and left with just one thing.

Jaime spent the whole day browsing the antique store and left with just one thing. He had to crouch a little due to the weight of the “thing”, but he was happy that the wait is finally over. He reached his car and spent his time appreciating his possession. It had all the signs of being worn, but the word “antique” warns you of that.

It was a girl with beautiful eyes and an informal smile on her lips. If alive, he thought, she would be perfect as the girl of his dreams. He instantly felt a sort of strong attachment towards her. One look at the statue was enough for him to fall in love with her and decided to keep this one forever.  The moment he took this decision, he felt his heart swell with an unsaid happiness and his eyes wet with tears of joy.  His tears rolled down his cheeks and it fell on her face. Just like someone is startled with a splash of water, she opened her eyes with a stridulating voice. His tears washed away the lifelessness from her and she now smelled of life, though not as the same size as his.

Jamie was resilient to this sudden outcome, and behaved in a composed way. His virtue was such that his face showed no sign of amazement and shock.

Was he expecting this or did the statue hold a secret that only   he was aware of? How am I supposed to know? Am just someone narrating a story to you all ..!!

He tossed the statue backwards, and it landed perfectly in the backseat. To prevent a downfall that might damage her, he secured her with a seat belt and drove off.
