I stare into the blank,
and there it is seen again.
Somewhere between earth and sky,
the child of rain and sun.
Dangling on some nothing,
arching over a fantasy spectrum,
splashing colors on some weary eyes,
sprouting hope on barren lands.
Count the colors before it dies,
for the prodigy has a span so short.
Pick your color real quick,
blend it with your soul,
spread it with much passion-
lest is seen down here too – the rainbow.
