Twisted Sense of Time – Thursday photo prompt: Veiled #writephoto

Sue Vincent’s Thursday Photo Prompt

I walk with veiled eyes,
Them  blurred with questions.
The usual manner of walking,
has long left me.
The hand is numb, and legs are stiff,
they have no means of return.
The head, oh my head,
heavy with all the burden,
made my spines bend in an arch.
Like stacked upon stones,
that could tumble any moment,

were my mind, brain and heart.
With my ever changing sentiments
gluing them – but for how long?
It doesn’t matter who’s on whom.

Or what is on what.
One beat of the heart will make it fall,
But what else for the heart?
One thought from the brain,
Will end it all.
But what else for the brain?
They say the mind knows it all.
But forever silence from it.
So what else for the mind?
No one can unveil me now,
For all has been lost.
Lost to the twisted sense of time,
and hidden pelts of life.
To end it all, I jump.
I fly but downwards,
into the embrace of ground-
My eyes now open  wide.
